GREENWICH — Firefighters doused a structure fire in Riverside Thursday morning.
No injuries were reported at the Sunshine Avenue residence. It was unclear if anyone was home at the time, said Deputy Chief Brian Kosczak, due to an initial language barrier. The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.
“The house had some moderate fire damage, to the roof and walls. There was smoke damage throughout,” Koczak said.
