Thank you card from the foster family of Nicholas:

Dear Glenville Volunteer Fire Company,

Words cannot express how thankful and appreciative we are for your fantastic basket of fire related items for our foster child, Nicholas.

When Ted arrived at our house with his wife Tundi, he asked us all to sit on the couch and cover our eyes. When we opened our eyes we were shocked to see this HUGE basket of gifts for our little man. Nicholas was so excited. He was waiting patiently for us to open the basket. One by one he played with each toy. He dressed in his firefighter gear and sat down while we read him the storybook.

We are truly blessed to have friends like Ted and Tundi who are so unselfish and caring of others. And to know that Ted works with so many amazing people that donated this basket to Nicholas truly warms our hearts.

Thank you for all you do to keep our citizens safe and protected.

Sincerely,

Mario & Mary Frascone (and Nicholas too!!)

Just a reminder from the Glenville Volunteer Fire Company. It's the smallest acts of kindness that create the biggest smiles....

"A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give." Author Unknown.
